Spirit originally opened in 2012 as a donation-based studio to serve the community. Over the many years that followed, it evolved with different ownership.

On March 1st, 2020, we purchased Spirit Yoga, with the dream of giving everyone who walked through the doors a feeling of "belonging," providing an array of safe, enjoyable classes accessible to all, and being able to give back to the community, particularly animal welfare organizations.

Although COVID shifted operations for the next year, eventually the world made a slow return to "normalcy" and, in May 2021, we opened Spirit Barre in the studio directly adjacent to Spirit Yoga, wanting offer multiple modalities of movement to the community.

Spirit now offers a diverse array of classes, accessible to anyone regardless of their fitness level, in a warm & welcoming atmosphere where friendships are built daily.

As lifelong animal advocates, we found a way to give back by creating Animal Rescue Yoga workshops to enable homeless pets to meet potential adoptors, provide a fun & heartwarming experience for clients, and to enable us to donate a portion of proceeds to our partnering animal rescue organizations.

Spirit is not just a wellness center — it is a supportive community. We are truly grateful for your support of our small business.

Spirit offers a warm & welcoming environment, with classes accessible to all, and is a community — not just a wellness studio. We work to make our community members healthy, strong, and to give them a feeling of "home." We offer diverse classes, and encourage our instructors to bring their own style, so that although all classes are accessible for every level, each one is unique and never cookie-cutter!

Spirit's vision is to be a growing, thriving, welcoming, and giving wellness community.
